Due to our continued expansion, Storm are seeking a Social Media Exec to provide the creative ideas, social media know-how and vision to drive the creation and deployment of strategic marketing activity across social media channels for our clients.

Working directly with our strategic marketing team, your expertise in social media will help to establish the best channels and communication methods to deliver engaging content in line with our client’s marketing objectives. Your role will be to develop content schedules and direct the creation of posts, artwork, videos and other digital assets by the Multimedia Content Creators in your team.

This is a content generation role, which requires the ability to write high-quality, engaging copy. You will be a lateral thinker, with the ability to help create innovative content for our clients. The ideal candidate will be highly-organised with a proactive approach, ensuring that all marketing is well-planned, appropriate and delivered on time by your team. You’ll also be required to monitor activity, industry-relevant trends and competitor activity to ensure our work delivers the intended results.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Developing strategic plans and content delivery schedules.
  • Researching content ideas.
  • Directing the creation and distribution of planned content.
  • Writing copy and creating content where necessary.
  • Monitoring the results of our work and the wider competitive landscape.

  • The role would suit someone with a genuine and demonstrable interest in all areas of social media content creation.
  • We’re at the top of our game, so you need to be at the top of yours, always aware of the latest trends across digital platforms and full of ideas and enthusiasm to try new things.
  • The role would benefit from someone with a strong writing background, with a proven ability to create interesting and engaging content, ideally involving B2B social media activity, supported by marketing expertise and strong commercial awareness.
  • All of our content is strategically driven and created for a purpose - no fluff or filler - so to deliver effective content at pace you’ll need to fuse solid copywriting, content ideas and research skills with an understanding of the audience and purpose.
  • You’ll need to be a highly-organised self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  • An ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
