Midweight writer

THE OPPORTUNITY

We seek a versatile, midweight copywriter with a fierce imagination to join our in-house creative team.

THE ROLE

As our new midweight writer, you’ll join a vibrant, in-house creative department responsible for the creative outputs of the whole DMA.

Your immediate key focus will be to revolutionise how our business communicates via email, writing across the brand and through our campaign-led activity.

With input into design, layout and – of course - the use of language, we’re looking to you to help us totally reimagine how we concept, craft and execute our email outputs.

Additionally, you will contribute to:

• Email campaign ideation, strategy and scheduling
• Article research, creation and scheduling
• Creative concepts and idea growth for brand and campaign work

Throughout you’ll partner with designers and writers with backgrounds in multimedia, in illustration and editorial, in film and motion animation.

YOUR PROFILE, KEY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

You’ll need real get-up-and-go as well as creative chutzpah as you contribute your concepts and fresh ideas to help us meet tough deadlines and demanding stakeholders.

Day in, day out, you’ll craft electrifying article and email copy that sells products and services to an audience that eats and sleeps all things creative, data, insight-led and innovation-heavy.

So we’d love to see some serious proactivity, can-do / will-do, and a certain joie de vivre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Here’s what else we want from you:

• 3+ years industry experience
• Experience of producing email copy to tight deadlines, across multiple clients / campaigns
• Experience writing copy across diverse formats: article copy, social media, DM, display
• Experience writing long and short copy, and in report writing and editing
• Some experience developing and delivering creative concepts
• Some experience managing other team members is preferable
