Senior Creative Account Manager: Overview


Wunderdogs is looking for a Creative Account Manager to work remotely with our distributed team across San Francisco, London, Kyiv and Moscow and clients all over the globe. We’re looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join a dynamic client services team within a small but growing creative agency. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast paced environment, liaising with a variety of stakeholders and managing multiple projects. You have superb organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.


The role involves managing the day to day running of a key agency account. You’ll be responsible for client liaison, briefing creative teams and project managing work from concept through to artwork. You’ll take ownership of project finances, including monthly financial reporting to the senior team. You’ll also support founders on strategic briefs and larger projects, as well as having the opportunity to contribute to new business pitches/business development.


A minimum of 3 years’ integrated agency experience, ability to manage multiple client projects in a fast-paced studio, entrepreneurial approach and a strong appreciation for design are essential.

The job


- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on strategy, on time, and budget.
- Collaborate with external suppliers, clients, and other agencies, as required, to build strong working relationships.
- Maintain account administration, including weekly status reports, meeting contact reports, timing plans, workload planning, etc.
- Take a lead role in administering and managing full-cycle creative projects: brief, resource, plan, scope, schedule, drive, and review to achieve collective success.
- Build strong agency-client relationships, always looking for the opportunity to grow the business.
- Ensure that our creative and client service standards are maintained at an exceptional level.
- Bring innovation to the creative and technological output of the agency as a whole, keeping abreast of industry trends, and emerging marketing communications channels and techniques.
- Work on a wide portfolio of accounts.
- Address client queries effectively in a timely and calm manner.
- Support contract negotiations, budgeting, and billing.


The Qualifications


- 3+ years of experience working in a similar account management role within an integrated creative agency
- Strong background in account and project management for branding, print, website/digital builds and through-the-line campaigns
- A genuine interest in the digital space
- Excellent communication skills: written, spoken, be a good listener and a good presenter
- Self-management / Organisational Skills (we are fully remote!)
- Negotiation, Persuasion, Relationship Building skills
- Insight, Data, and Analytical Skills
- Strong but non-aggressive leadership style
- Stress, time & team management in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and awareness of budgetary requirements
- Passion for the industry and for what you do
- Hands on experience with CRM and task management software
- Experience with customer service and account management. I would remove this one, repeats the first requirement
