A ten week position for an editorial assistant working in the It's Nice That editorial team.

It’s Nice That has a ten week opening for an editorial assistant to work across all It’s Nice That projects – itsnicethat.com, Printed Pages and Nicer Tuesdays.

This is an entry level role and we are looking for a candidate with an infectious enthusiasm for the creative industry. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of the core disciplines It’s Nice That covers, as well as an understanding of our tone of voice, history and overall message.


  • Can write to deadline with flair and personality
  • Understands the It’s Nice That brand, has a wide understanding of the key creative disciplines It's Nice That covers
  • Enjoys the challenge of keeping several plates spinning at the same time
  • The successful applicant will work with the editorial and creative teams to deliver inspiring news and stories from across a wide range of creative disciplines

Key Skills

  • Writing accurately and to deadline
  • Proactive and confident communication skills
  • Awareness of the design industry and creative world
  • Basic Photoshop experience to crop, resize and edit images
  • An interest in social media and digital publishing


  • Contribute daily news stories
  • Pitching and contributing to work articles and features
  • You will be expected to write using the It’s Nice That style guide and use our CMS to upload stories
  • You will also assist the social media manager in scheduling content for publication across multiple platforms

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am — 6pm (flexible hours between 8am – 7pm except Fridays)
Term: 10 weeks
