We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our talented Marketing Team.

This will mainly involve designing posts for Social Media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, as well as drafting, customizing and managing all published content (images, video and written) to appeal to the social community and build an audience of enthusiastic, active followers.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Proactively identifying opportunities to communicate stories of interest from across the company on our social channels
  • Proactively engage and interact with followers by responding to questions and joining in relevant conversations while ensuring the social media calendar is current
  • Overseeing our social media strategy and executing campaigns, both internally and on behalf of our clients, that are aligned with the brand guidelines
  • Monitoring trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy as well as reporting on, analysing, and optimising social media performance
  • Overseeing the strategy, design and execution of all corporate social channels for emc3 and client facing accounts

What we’ll need from you:

To be considered for this Social Media Manager role you must have experience managing social media channels and working on creative and innovative social media campaigns for a high-profile brand or brands.

You also need to be eager to leverage the appropriate platforms for driving brand awareness, engagement, and conversion; develop data- and insights-driven social media strategies and tactical plans; have strong content strategy skills, and social media monitoring and reporting expertise as well as understand paid social media strategy and implementation.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, someone who is driven, ambitious, highly collaborative and who loves getting things done!

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Proven experience in social media and content marketing
Experience with social media management and monitoring tools
An understanding of SEO.
Experience creating compelling written and visual content that generates conversion at each level of the marketing funnel
Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
It would be beneficial to your application if you have creative agency experience
