Design Intern (Marketing)

Come and join acrylicize, a multidisciplinary creative studio. We blend art, design and branding to create experiences that connect people with spaces. Our projects are defined by a devotion to craft and narrative, championing art’s enduring ability to tell powerful stories that connect us with our environment.

As the Design Intern for our marketing team you will be working closely with the Marketing & Events Manager, as well as the Founder & Creative Director, on all brand-related projects. You’ll explore and provide graphic design, video editing, and marketing assistance, creating compelling work to celebrate and promote Acrylicize. We’re looking for the best emerging talent, and believe that a certain level of industry naivety is key to fresh creative ideas - challenging how things ‘should’ be done, and inviting new perspectives. We care about well crafted ideas and doing things differently. If you do too, please get in touch!

You will be assisting with...

- Developing and designing various forms of visual communication
- Creation of engaging assets for our social media accounts
- Designing marketing collateral, such as books, zines, gifs, and project and event promotional materials
- Sharing the story of Acrylicize in visually exciting ways
- Developing design for internal presentations, pitch documents, and special projects
- Creating and editing video content

You must have…

- An education in the design field, and an active interest in the art and design world
- A passion for branding
- An interest in photography and videography
- A keen interest in learning
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
- Excellent team player attitude
- Willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
- A hunger to constantly improve the studio’s output
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

A bit about our benefits…

- We pay the London living wage
- 20 days pro rata holiday for duration of internship
- Mentoring and support to develop skills
- A whole host of team social activities
