Hudson Fuggle is an award-winning branding agency looking for an exceptional and talented Studio Manager to join our friendly and creative team based a stone’s throw from the river near Tower Bridge.

Our ideal candidate is someone with excellent organisational and communication skills and a good working knowledge of traffic management systems.

Your role at Hudson Fuggle will be at the very heart of the studio – drawing up estimates for new projects, scheduling jobs into the studio and liaising with external suppliers. You will work closely with the two Directors and our close-knit team of designers, programmers, copy writers and film makers. Meeting on a weekly basis with the Directors to assemble and discuss job status reports will also be part of the role. You’ll also be called upon to help with the myriad of tasks that are needed within a small studio environment including the ordering of materials and organising everything from IT repairs through to client gifts!

We are a Mac-based studio so you’ll need to have a solid working knowledge of the standard Microsoft packages and a basic working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.

This role would suit someone who has been working in a similar role for a year or two and is now looking to step up to the next level as there are exciting opportunities for career progression, leadership and added responsibility.

Your key skills should include:
A proven track record of working in a fast-paced creative studio environment
Experience of scheduling, allocating resources, budgets and sourcing freelancers
The ability to brief, and obtain estimates from any external resources e.g. front-end web developers, photographers, printers, copywriters
The confidence to liaise directly with suppliers and clients
The desire to take on more responsibility both in terms of your own work, and helping others within the team
Experience in using Mac based software packages and office management systems
Previous experience of working with project/traffic management systems (such as Synergist and Trello)
A willingness to take control of the general requirements of running a busy studio
Excellent organisational and communication skills and the highest standards of written and spoken English
An eye for detail and a stickler for the highest quality standards in all areas of production
The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload and remain calm under pressure
Friendly, approachable and hardworking

Hudson Fuggle is an equal opportunities employer.
