Your role

As Marketing Intern, you will play a role in supporting the agency’s marketing and new business activity. You’ll be part of the Strategy team, and work closely with them and the Founding Partners; and liaising with the Client Service and Creative teams. You will demonstrate excellent research and writing skills, with a flair for social media, you will be a natural at gathering and collating information to help inform the agency’s marketing activity and business development opportunities. You will be an excellent communicator with great confidence, and the ability to influence others. You’ll have superb organisation and admin skills.

Your responsibilities:


Marketing and Social Media

  • Create posts for our owned channels (LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) and monitor of responses
  • Work with the Client Service team to manage the outreach to prospects and subsequent follow-ups
  • Liaise with Client Services each month to create any new case studies
    Maintain the marketing database and internal systems, ensuring that information is accurate
  • Help create agency email campaigns, managing and tracking them
  • Liaise with all relevant contributors to ensure all activity happens on schedule post the Marketing/New Business meetings
  • Support our PR activity liaising internally with the other members of the Strategy team and with any third-parties
  • Help update the website, working with all contributors to ensure content is current on a regular basis and SEO performance is maintained or improved
  • Help carry out SEO reports and social media reports to monitor the agency’s presence on the web / in the media

Business Development

  • Help prepare presentations and attend meetings to take notes
  • Contact potential clients on behalf of the Founding Partners, via their emails or phone, to set up meetings
  • As requested research organisations and individuals (using social media) to identify new business contacts
  • Monitor incoming new business enquiries, recording and liaising internally to ensure the adequate response is given as agreed with the Partners, and updating the databases and spreadsheets

General

  • Ensure a consistent positive and helpful approach to client work and briefs
  • Maintain team documentation and administration to support the team
  • Work on internal agency projects, social initiatives and events
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks including answering calls and greeting visitors, etc
