Peregrine is looking to recruit a talented Designer with 2+ years' experience, to join our small creative team in the creation of print, digital and brand projects within the financial marketing sector.

The Role

We’re looking for an established designer with a strong background in conceptualising design solutions from scratch, working independently to generate ideas based on a creative brief, sharing and discussing ideas and process, as well as executing work to a high standard.

Our ideal candidate also possesses some experience in corporate photography, specifically taking headshots, office shots and some experience in event photography.

You must possess a knowledge of print, good commercial awareness and creative flair, experience in the financial marketing industry is bonus! Your previous work should show expertise in digital projects such as websites, and print projects such as branding, marketing collateral and presentations.

Knowledge of MS office and a proven competence in design and image process software; Adobe programmes including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is essential for this role. You will be expected to ensure all design work including pitch presentations, proposals, branding and collateral are error-free and of the highest quality.

Our client projects are wide-ranging and creative concepts are shared proactively within the wider team which makes for a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will report to the Senior Designer whilst developing your own personal creative experience outside of your areas of expertise.

You will be expected to deliver multi-channel campaigns and handle multiple projects at any given time from various clients and 'own' and manage a number of specific clients yourself.



Skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines as well as communicating directly with clients.

· A strong portfolio of work demonstrating an awareness and understanding of print and digital work underpinned by core design skills in typography, colour and layout.

· Experience in corporate photography, with an eye for a good shot, and knowledge of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist software

· Understanding and awareness of the sector, aesthetic and culture.

· Great attention to detail is a must.

· Significant knowledge of both digital design (web design, social campaign, online visual design) and print design (branding guidelines, marketing collateral, presentation design, and print ready work).

· BA degree in design / graphic design and at least 2 years of agency experience.
