We're looking for a talented Junior Editor join our East London based film production company, Pavilion Works.

You will be joining the core in-house team of 5, becoming a key member working on commercial and in-house projects. Our work environment is fast, creative and always striving to push ideas and concepts. Pavilion Works started in early 2017, since then we have amassed an array of clients working across commercial, music, Fashion and Documentary.


This role will enable you to grow with the company and have an impact on how we operate. You will work within a team that is pushing forward and looking to expand different areas. This is a full time position to start in January.


The role will involve:

Working closely with the in-house producers, editor, creatives and external teams to deliver projects to final delivery. Uphold the high standard of Pavilion Works tone and quality but look to push new creative and approaches to our work.


Requirements

Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker that is willing to push ideas. You should have a talent for crafting engaging narratives and working to briefs. You should be well versed in the technical side of post production and have a sharp eye for aesthetics.


Ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 + years in the industry, either employed or as a freelancer.
  • Previously worked at a production company or post production house.
  • Having assisted editors and worked as an editor commercially.
  • Must be passionate and see editing as their calling within the industry.


ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:

  • Editing original content including commercials, brand videos, talks / events, corporate videos & documentaries.
  • Be able to craft strong and engaging narratives.
  • Working closely with producers, director and clients.
  • Able to handle different delivery specs for social, online and broadcast.
  • Basic sound mixing.
  • Basic grading.
  • Rough compositing.
  • Good understanding of simple motion graphics.
  • Trying new editing techniques and staying on top of trend within the industry.
  • Speed on our edits is key as we work to tight deadlines.


Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to edit in Premiere Pro is a must.
  • Strong workflow and organisational skills.
  • Good ability with After Effects CC a plus.
  • Have an understanding of basic colour correction, sound mixing.
  • Basic knowledge of, Da Vinci
