Job Description
The Three Laws of Lawlessness
1. Successful brands break rules.
2. Breaking rules requires bravery.
3. Bravery is intelligent creativity.
A bit about us
We are a small team, generating and refreshing brands of every size. We create intelligent identities, campaigns, and happily design anything and everything. We write. We generate names. We do the exciting strategic bit at the start. We can deliver the gazillion artworks at the end.
We’ve recently moved to a new office inside a central Cambridge ‘WeWork-style’ coworking space, with unlimited coffee machines, private booths, and breakout spaces everywhere. We like real life. This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office to perform, develop, and feel like a team.
A bit about you
You are probably an experienced Junior Designer who wants more… More opportunity to come up with ideas, lead while having close support from us, learn and grow, figure stuff out, enjoy the challenge, get hands-on at every stage of a project, bring positive vibes and interesting, inspiring thoughts to the studio, and become a creative legend one day. You’re inquisitive, see things differently, and probably have an interesting hobby or pursuit outside the design scene. Your mind is sharp and broad. You can roll your Rs. Or perhaps not.
Talking of keeping sharp, we offer a free gym membership. Our salary offer will be competitive. We will support initiatives that promote your career and creative superpowers.
How to apply
Does this sound like you?
If so, please share an introduction about yourself and why you’d suit Lawless, along with a portfolio or website link. We’re interested in how you think and generate ideas rather than the final artwork.
Here comes the ‘No’ bit. No agencies. No freelancers. No egos. No copy-and-paste applications. No enormous PDF attachments (Let’s say 8MB absolute maximum). No flexing on the minimum 3 days per week in Cambridge thing.
We promise to review every application without prejudice. We cannot respond to everyone.
We are looking to make an appointment as soon as we can. We do not have a formal process or fixed deadline.
Please email your introduction and creative work to izzi@lawless.london
