As well as covering inspirational work and projects, we harness our creative expertise to help brands communicate their messages and products to our creative audience. We work with brands of all scales, from local start-ups to some of the world's biggest brands such as Apple, Spotify, LEGO, BBC, Nike and Adobe. We have 5 distinct offers to work with partners:

Brand Partnerships; Connecting brands to the creative world through a partnership with It’s Nice That.

Experiences; Engaging creative audiences through immersive one-to-one experiences in person and online.

Advertising; Maximising the reach of an existing campaign through sponsored editorial, social posts and display media.

Creators; Leveraging the credentials of influential creatives to engage an audience with products and services.

Insights; Providing partners with opinions and perspectives direct from the global creative community.

Role Description

This role leads It’s Nice That’s commercial offer, sales strategy and outreach to convert opportunities with brands and agencies interested in working with us. The role requires an excellent communicator and collaborator who enjoys building strong relationships with partners and has the ability to recognise and create new opportunities for the business.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker who’s able to plan how we grow our commercial offering but is also able to execute these strategies, leading the New Business & Partnerships team to deliver against our business targets. You’ll work collaboratively across the It’s Nice That team, so a pro-active, positive and make-it-happen attitude is key.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a sales, business development or new business role with a background in publishing, media, advertising, digital or a similar service
  • Existing relationships with clients at brands and agencies working in marketing, partnerships, and media
  • Pro-active with the ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of opportunities
  • Good people skills that build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams
  • Excellent communicator and able to guide partners on the best solution for their needs
  • Highly organised with the ability to work across competing priorities and set team focuses
  • Brilliant collaborator and team player who enjoys coordinating and working with colleagues from multiple teams to achieve results
  • Able to shape incoming briefs to align the needs of partners with the mission of It's Nice That
  • Interested in the world of creativity, with an understanding of the media landscape

Key Tasks

  • Oversee the growth and sales of our commercial offering on It’s Nice That, accountable for identifying and winning the biggest New Business opportunities across Partnerships, Experiences and Insights
  • Responsible for the pipeline of new work, with oversight of commercial targets, running weekly new business meetings and managing actions across the team
  • Manage the pipeline of new leads, develop client briefs, build proposals for pitches and signing off work
  • Developing and executing sales strategies and providing direction to guide conversations and outcomes
  • Responsible for growing our network, proactively look for new leads, seeking out opportunities and keeping aware of market developments
  • Developing new business opportunities with partners, consulting clients on the right solutions and aligning briefs with the wider project delivery team
  • Increasing the awareness of It’s Nice That’s opportunities and overseeing how we communicate our offer to potential partners
  • Leading on analysis to improve processes and approaches that develop commercial opportunities for the platform
  • Working with It’s Nice That Leadership to define annual new business strategies and execute these with teams
  • Collaborating with New Business & Business Dev peers and colleagues across the Residence network to generate leads and identifying opportunities for cross-company projects
  • Managing the New Business & Partnerships team, currently with three roles (including this position)
  • Oversight of our CRM database on Hubspot

Key Details

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (Flexible hours between 8.30am to 6.30pm)

Location: Hybrid working between home and our central London studio, with 2 days a week in the studio (Tuesday and Thursday)

Contract: Permanent
