The Role:
As a Print Production Assistant, you will be an essential part of our creative department. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the creation of all creative assets required for our projects. You will ensure that these assets are approved, fit for purpose, and delivered on time. You will also play a key role in managing production proofs, tech packs, bespoke packaging, and maintaining the necessary supplies.
A Day in Your Life
- Manage Production Proofs: Own and update detailed production proofs that include technical layouts, product specifications, and branding elements. Ensure these documents are meticulously maintained and all team members work from the most current versions.
- Oversee Creative Assets: Handle the creation and approval of various project assets, including gift notes, leaflets, and complex print collateral with specialty finishes. Ensure all assets align with production proofs and meet the highest quality standards.
- Tech Packs: Create comprehensive tech packs that suppliers can use to develop samples and production items. Keep these documents updated with feedback and act as a central reference point for product specifications.
- Bespoke Packaging: Lead bespoke corporate packaging projects, such as designing bespoke NAB new boxes. Coordinate with international suppliers to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery of packaging solutions.
- Supplies & Re-Sourcing: Oversee the sourcing and production of essential supplies, including outer cartons, mailing bags, packaging tape, leaflets, and care cards. Maintain an organized inventory and ensure timely reordering to support ongoing projects.
- Coordinate Ordering: Take charge of ordering production items, collaborating with multiple third-party suppliers to procure materials like brass foiling plates, heat press graphics, and print-ready items. Work closely with the production team to maintain timelines and avoid project delays.
- Build Supplier Relationships: Develop and nurture strong connections with creative suppliers, staying abreast of new print methods and technologies. Continuously bring fresh ideas to enhance our production processes and improve overall quality.
- Lead and Organise: Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills by managing multiple projects simultaneously. Lead by example, fostering effective working relationships with both the creative and production teams. Provide leadership and coordination to ensure smooth project execution.

- Your Experience
- Software Proficiency: High-level skills in Adobe Suite and Figma
- Print and Supplier Knowledge: Relevant experience with third-party print and creative suppliers, and familiarity with various branding equipment and techniques.
- Project Management: Experience managing diverse projects using CRM tools like Monday.com, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects effectively.
- Client Communication: Comfortable and confident in communicating with clients when necessary, even though this role is not always client-facing.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £27,500 - £30,000, based on experience
