Job Description

Summary

As a Producer at Stereo you will play a key role in delivering creative projects with a focus on motion, campaigns and 3D for a variety of clients.

With a commitment to quality, you will have a complete understanding of the creative process from briefing to delivery, along with production regulations and best practices. With strong organisational and communicative skills, you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, oversight and managing resources and third parties across all stages of production.

You will have proven experience delivering a variety of production projects including campaigns, film, 2D/ 3D animations and stills shoots. Knowledge of digital innovation projects is advantageous.

Skills Required

- 3 years + experience working in a creative agency or industry as a Producer

- Excellent knowledge of motion and video production and post production processes

- Understanding of the necessary resource profile/s required throughout project lifecycle

- Understanding of insurance, industry regulations and basic legal, copyright and usage knowledge

- Ability to choose and select the most appropriate supplier for the required task

- Ability to confidently present to clients and peers with excellent communication skills in any environment

- Knowledge of project management tools (eg. Monday.com) and methodologies

- You can be an authoritative figure in a busy team with the ability to make key decisions and problem solve independently

- You are proactive, reliable, able to meet deadlines and to organise your own and others’ time

- You have a keen attention to detail with regards to project planning, documentation and budgetary restraints

- You stay up-to-date with market trends, up and coming talent and networking opportunities

- A can-do attitude with experience to manage issues as they occur in a pragmatic and calm manner

Typical Activities

- Manage the production lifecycle from start to finish, from planning, commercials and finances and pre-production to shoot management, risk mitigation and post-production

- Manage all aspects of third party production, from 3D to audio, storyboard artists to voice-over, final mixes and rights management negotiations

- Work with the accounts team and department leads to build cost estimates for project briefs, ensuring realistic distribution of budgets

- Negotiate rates ensuring Stereo’s profit is kept front of mind while client budgets are cleverly managed

- Track spend highlighting possible budget creep before they occur. Escalate and resolve financial issues as they happen.

- Enable smooth running of production projects from brief through to delivery. Lean on previous experience to drive opportunities.

- Employ best practice project management processes, contributing to stand-ups, overseeing day-to-day workstream and keeping everything on track

- Ownership of project plan timelines and creating gantt charts in management tools (eg. Monday.com)

- Ensure the highest attention to detail across all documentation and deliverables (line items) within the project scope

- Ensure QA/ sign-off processes are being followed

- Work with accounts team to plan and manage internal resourcing, including motion team

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards

- Understand the client’s business goals and needs and actively participate in the solution process

- Build strong internal and external relationships
