Junior Talent Representative

Blink Productions (blinkprods.com), the highly awarded commercial production company, is seeking an outgoing, well connected & ambitious Junior Talent Rep. Blink has always been about developing & representing the best directorial talent in the industry and this is an exciting chance to become an integral part of that unwavering mission to develop exciting young talent and find them the best commercial opportunities.

The Rep will work closely with the Head of New Business and Blink’s Executive Producers to generate new business leads. They will have the ability to establish relationships with creative teams & agency producers, in order to find and bring in the best scripts that are out in the market. At the same time they will have a keen eye for filmmaking talent, an interest in the advertising landscape, film, art, music and television.

A good basic understanding of the industry is useful although experience is not essential. We are looking for someone who intuitively understands what is cool and current as well as an appreciation of interesting new talent.

Responsibilities:

• Always be developing & maintaining relationships with advertising agencies & brands.
• Finding opportunities and matching them with directors.
• Presenting directors reels to agencies & brands.
• Ensuring emerging talent on the roster are being seen by appropriate creative teams.
• Research industry news & account developments.
• Collating custom director reels.
• New talent research & connecting with emerging directors.
• Assist PR Manager with launches of new work & directors.
• Explore non-traditional advertising opportunities.
• Regular reporting to the Head of New Business and Executive Producers.
• Attending industry events and other networking opportunities.
• Creative input into treatments & pitching.

Salary:

Basic salary and commission structure dependent on experience.
