Research design
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects, including but not limited to:
- Ethnographic studies
- In-depth interviews (IDIs)
- Focus groups
- Online surveys
- Desk research
- Competitive analysis
- Develop screeners and discussion guides to ensure research objectives are met.
- Moderate focus groups and conduct in-depth interviews, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analyse social media and online conversations to understand consumer sentiment and identify trends.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure research aligns with project needs and objectives.
Data management and reporting
- Analyse and interpret research data to extract meaningful insights.
- Synthesise findings into compelling narratives and presentations.
- Create visually engaging reports and presentations that effectively communicate research findings to internal and client stakeholders.
- Manage and organise research data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and integrate data from various sources.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Prepare reports and presentations that effectively communicate research findings to diverse audiences.
Insights
- Develop actionable insights that inform brand strategy, creative development, and marketing campaigns.
- Identify key trends and patterns in consumer behaviour and market dynamics.
- Contribute to the development of brand positioning, messaging, and target audience segmentation.
- Collaborate with the strategy team to translate research findings into strategic recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends, and cultural dynamics.

- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of research methodologies and best practices.

Role requirements
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, psychology, sociology, or a related field
- Understanding of, and strong interest in, branding
- 3+ years of experience in market research, preferably within a branding agency environment
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Google Sheets)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Passion for brands and understanding consumer behaviour
Desirable
- Familiarity with panel survey tools such as GWI and YouGov
- Certification in data analysis
- Experience within a reputable brand or marketing agency
