Graphic Designer at Apartamento Studios, Berlin

Apartamento Studios is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer, with a passion for motion design, to join our Berlin office. This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week, based in our Berlin office, and you will report directly to our Design Director. The starting date is 15 July 2024, ideally sooner.

You will be working on a wide range of visual design projects, including identity and branding assignments, as well as editorial and spatial design.

We are looking for someone who brings energy, a good eye for detail and problem-solving acumen. You can take direction and respect project briefs whilst bringing an edge of your own to the work.

You have a demonstrable experience of design, typography and motion design, as well as being aware of current creative trends and are willing to explore different design solutions, self-initiated research is an essential part of your work.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a professional, deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English - German and/or any other language a welcome plus.
• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite - especially Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects - as well as Figma.
• Experience with Premiere and 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender) is a welcome plus.
• Sophisticated sense of typography and an understanding of its relevance to good design both online and offline.
• Ability to design, research and accurately artwork files for production.
• Effective communication. Whether it’s keeping people in the loop, explaining an approach, giving and receiving feedback, or advocating for design within the company.
• You have an interest for contemporary culture, and obviously an enthusiasm for the brand Apartamento.
