  • When? Monday to Friday, 9.30am until 5.30pm
  • Where? We operate hybrid working, so a mix of remote based and our studio in Farringdon. Please note that we do require at least monthly attendance in the studio.

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our thriving project team.

The role will primarily involve overseeing one of our long-standing tech client accounts, so a passion for this industry is a must.

Supported by project managers and overseen by Senior Directors, your job will be to lead on a variety of projects under the account. The majority of briefs are B2B, and our clients often rely on us to help them unpick these briefs and re-shape them into something more structured, then make a plan to deliver. We like to work collaboratively with our clients, so you’ll be expected to enjoy working as a team towards a common goal.

Working closely with the strategic and creative teams is also a fundamental part of the job, so an interest and understanding of what designers, copywriters and strategists do, and an awareness of how to get the best from different disciplines and personalities is important.

Project responsibilities

We’ll work with you to onboard you on the account and support your development on it. Once you’re up and running, you’ll be able to work with minimal instruction from senior director team members and above to:

  • Take a lead role on projects of various sizes, alongside the Creative Director (and possible Senior Account Director)
  • Interpret complex B2B client briefs, ensuring you understand the challenge and are adept at problem solving to find a solution
  • Lead on client communications, often supporting them through crunchy deadlines and challenging stakeholders their side
  • Oversee Project Managers to ensure project admin is always up to scratch. You’ll have a keen eye of detail and a high standard to set.
  • Understand resourcing requirements, ensuring the right creatives are put on the right projects
  • Oversee and report on accurate project and account finances (up to and over the value of 1 million

Please note that you’ll also be asked to oversee projects outside of your primary account when required.

You’ll need to be an expert in Google Workspace, including word docs and spreadsheets.

It would be great (but not essential) if you have prior experience working in or around design and creativity.
