Upper Midweight/Senior Designer

A leading design manufacturer is seeking assistance in recruiting a talented, experienced upper Midweight or Senior Designer with a focus on digital to join their team in London, based at their showroom.

About the Company:

This company specialises in office furniture design and has a strong presence across Europe, including the UK, Germany, France, and Spain. While their head office is in Cardiff, they also operate a design studio in Huddersfield. Their designs focus on workplace environments, including pods, cabins, chairs, and upholstery.

The Role:

The chosen candidate will primarily work at the London showroom, which is relocating from Clerkenwell to a new space between Angel and Old Street in May. You will be expected to spend three days a week working from the showroom, with the remaining two days remote.

In this role, you will work on internal and external communications, create brochures and presentations, and develop printed and digital materials for events, packaging, and invitations. You will also be responsible for maintaining the company’s website, ensuring content is regularly updated and aligned with their marketing strategy. Experience with digital marketing, including social media management, is essential.

You will be joining a small but dynamic team.

What They're Looking For:

The company is looking for a confident self-starter with strong design skills and a digital-first approach. You should be comfortable working with various media, including animators, CGI, infographics, and photography. Skills in video editing or other complementary areas would be a plus.

In addition to digital content creation, the role may involve some market research, helping the team understand what competitors are doing. You will need to be hands-on, adaptable, and excited to contribute to both immediate projects and longer-term brand development initiatives, including upcoming web projects.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience in social media content creation and web content management

Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while also working autonomously when necessary (for example, during periods when your direct line managers are travelling)

Have strong communication skills and the ability to "hit the ground running"
