Senior UI / Website Designer

CareCo are seeking a Senior UI / Website Designer to join our established Marketing Department, who will be responsible for managing and building pages within the CMS, as well as working with the Digital Design Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the website.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of CareCo’s Headquarters in Great Notley.

Responsibilities

• Experience using a CMS system like Magento to update content, build and design pages for mobile and desktop.
• Updating the CareCo website content, bringing it into the brand style and creating consistency for the user.
• Create pages using HTML and CSS. Ability to improve existing HTML within the CMS.
• Producing bespoke landing pages to continually improve website metrics.
• Ensure your designs are user responsive and efficient for desktop, tablet and mobile.

Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 3-years experience within a similar role.
• Must have HTML & CSS experience.
• A good eye for layout aesthetics and details, with experience in online retail a definite bonus.
• Familiar with design programs such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe Suite.
• You should have experience with testing and debugging content pages and designs built in a CMS.
• You have experience in under-taking A/B tests.
• An understand of results from UX Audits, Heat Maps and Google Analytics would be beneficial.
• Job role would suit an organised and analytical person who is able to schedule their work, giving accurate completion times.
