Job Description

Looking to join an ambitious agency where each person brings a unique and diverse skillset to the table? Where every project is an opportunity to create something better than the last? Where great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere? Perhaps this role is for you.

We're looking for a brilliant copywriter who is looking to hone their craft with a wide range of projects across industries and channels. Working alongside strategists, designers and storytellers, this person would bring brands to life through written content and sharp editorial standards.

Brand writing

  • Working alongside our Brand Storyteller, you will architect powerful brand identities and craft compelling narratives that resonate deeply with our clients’ target audiences. With each channel, you will seek to deliver memorable copy that attracts attention and drives action.
  • You will shape the brand’s voice, ensuring it aligns perfectly with its personality and values, by creating both long and short form copy.
  • As an enthusiastic wordsmith, you will bring an abundance of creative copy concepts to every project – considering a variety of brand touchpoints.

Content writing

  • Enhancing the positioning of our clients, you will craft high-quality content across various channels (website, social media, blog, etc.) that delivers on client and agency objectives
  • Research and develop engaging content ideas – diving deep into our client’s businesses and industries through one-to-one interviews with subject matter experts, desk research, and large scale survey data to tease out the most impactful stories.
  • Write persuasive copy for our clients’ sales marketing materials (brochures, presentations, etc.) that feel inherently on brand and intuitive to use.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the agency to realise market-leading campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Editorial

  • Be the guardian of our editorial standards: editing and proofreading copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Contribute to the development of editorial calendars and content plans for both the agency and our clients.
  • Get into the detail: design and manage how our clients write – from whether, or not, they use the Oxford comma, to how they write numbers or when it’s OK to use more than one exclamation mark. Translating these standards into easy-to-use guidelines for our clients.

Role Requirements

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a creative agency environment with a focus on copywriting, branding, or content development.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different clients and contexts.
  • Comfortable hosting interviews and building rapport with subject matter experts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, strategists, and clients.
  • Empathy and insight to understand target audiences and their needs.
  • A high standard of English language, written and spoken.
  • A high standard of IT skills and Mac proficiency.
  • The existing right to work in the United Kingdom as we are currently unable to sponsor work visas at this stage.

Desirable:

  • Additional language skills
  • Demonstration of report/white paper writing for B2B businesses

If you think you can do an amazing job, but don’t yet have all the requirements here, we’d still love to hear from you.

Working pattern:

Our team works best when we have time for focus, and space for the interplay of ideas and happenstance connections. Because of this, our team are all required to be in the studio on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The rest of the week, feel free to choose between here and home - though sometimes you'll be joining us on-site with our clients, wherever that might be.
