Role Overview:

We are excited to invite a passionate and experienced Motion Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the creative vision for motion graphics, bringing brands to life with captivating motion systems. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our motion design strategy and ensuring excellence in every project we undertake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop on-screen branding and motion graphics for our projects across multiple sectors.
  • Transform imaginative concepts into engaging motion graphics and cohesive design systems.
  • Convert design concepts and storyboards into animations.
  • Collaborate with teams and clients to enhance project quality.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of design and animation principles, along with technical standards.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and creativity in all work.
  • Pay attention to detail, refine your work, and ensure it is polished and ready for presentation.
  • Stay updated on design trends and culture, sharing references and showing enthusiasm.
  • Ability to brief & feedback when working with contractors across 2D & 3D motion projects.

Requirements:

  • Big Bonus/ Nice to have - 2D & 3D Experience.
  • Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro; experience with Cinema 4D or other 3D platforms (Bonus).
  • Technologically adept, skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, and quick to learn new software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude, willing to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to lead on motion projects.
  • The ability to decode client briefs, understand brand strategy and the brand process.

We will try to be flexible in terms of remote working, however, as we are a small team it is important for us to primarily work together from our studio in Dalston.

This is a 3-month rolling contract with the potential to transition into a full-time position. We are also open to discussing part-time opportunities, with the expectation that the candidate will dedicate three days a week to work from our studio.
