ABOUT THE CREATIVE TEAM

Our creative team creates bold work that matters. Driven by storytelling, craft and imagination, the team includes both Brand Creatives – responsible for shaping and safeguarding brands and developing strategies, playbooks and assets that keep digital channels alive and pristine – and Comms Creatives – responsible for making brands famous and relevant with ideas-driven campaigns, social-first content and impactful activations. The team brings different expertise together across conceptualisation, art direction, design, copywriting, editing and production to form a multi-disciplined, integrated creative workforce.

ABOUT YOU

As a Copywriter Intern you’ll bring a passion for culture, content and storytelling to support ideation and copywriting for concepts and content that aims to build respect for our clients – and for our agency. You are immersed in social trends and communities, with a particular eye for content angles that can build up to big storytelling / fame opportunities. You combine clever copywriting and audience insights to create best practice social, digital and campaign content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You are a Copywriter Intern who can:

  • Create high-standard creative work from ideation through to execution with storytelling at the heart
  • Write compelling, commercially minded, creative copy across different formats, from TikTok to website
  • Ensure copy is fit for purpose and optimised without compromising the overall creative quality of the brand message
  • Work closely with art direction / fellow creative team members to develop ideas, storyboards and narratives in clear and compelling ways
  • Understand the principles of brand tone of voice and apply this across many different copy formats
  • Understand social-first formats and best practices
  • Engage with social channel performance analysis to create improved content and collaborate with strategy team to test and learn new ideas
  • Sub-edit and proof-read with high attention to detail
  • Communicate efficiently and according to internal process, ensuring senior managers are kept up to date
  • Demonstrate rigorous file saving, organisation and management of high volume assets

You are a Copywriter Intern who happens to be:

  • A creative writer who can develop high-standard copy and content, with brand storytelling at the heart
  • A good communicator who can contribute ideas in line with channel and creative strategy, add to brainstorm sessions and present insight-diven ideas with confidence and clarity
  • An ideator who can spot opportunities to enhance brand narratives in new, relevant-to-the-moment ways

A tidy team member who uses file-saving and project management tools rigorously

You’re a Copywriter Intern who has:

  • Degree level qualification in the creative arts with ambition to begin a career at a creative agency
  • An interest and inherent knowledge about social media channels and format requirements and best practises
  • A passion for content and copywriting that has true creative impact
