Who’s Yatta?

Yatta is a motion studio specialising in art direction and animation. We hit the ground running in early 2021 and have since created CGI and animated graphics for global brands including Pepsi, Amazon, Miro, COS and Lloyds. We are a tight knit, collaborative team, passionate about our craft, dedicated to pushing ourselves to create awesome work. For us, motion matters.

What’s the role?

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, Mid-weight Motion Designer, looking to grow their skills amongst like-minded creatives.

We’re a multi-disciplined studio, looking for someone who enjoys working on a wide range of styles and jumps at the opportunity to try something new. We are primarily searching for a talented motion designer who understands the nuance of perfectly eased After Effects keyframes and can apply a brand’s voice and identity to their creative decision making. A grasp of 3D skills is a bonus, but not a deal breaker.

As a small, boutique studio, there’s room to make your mark on each project. You’ll be involved in each new brief, from initial storyboarding and animatics, to developing artwork, style-frames and animation.

Who are you?

You are someone with a passion for animation, who enjoys the chance to explore new ideas and bounce concepts back and forth within a team. You are self motivated and never scared of exploring new techniques. You keep up-to-speed with the latest plug-ins and find new and innovative ways to keep your workflow speedy. You excel at delivering quality work on time.

You have an artistic flair, but are happy to follow brand styles when required. You’re an excellent communicator and someone who can provide solutions with clarity.

You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a moving image role (permanent or freelance). You have an understanding of animation principles and the motion design process, from storyboards to final exports. You are familiar with industry standard tools: After Effects, C4D and Adobe.
