Job Description

Popsa sits at the intersection of generative AI, photography and eCommerce.

Founded in 2016, we’ve already built an award-winning app that’s made printing your memories so easy and accessible that anyone can do it. As a result, we receive 20,000 orders every week and more than 7.5 million people across 50 countries have trusted us to turn their photos into books, tiles, calendar, and more.

And our vision goes far beyond print. We’re building an AI-driven platform that will let people curate and process their experiences in new and exciting ways. Photobooks are just the beginning.

Mission of the role

As the Art Director at Popsa, you will be the driving force behind the conceptualization, production, and execution of our content shoots, ensuring that each project reflects our brand's vision and meets the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with Acquisition, Retention, and Product teams, providing clear and inspired direction alongside the Creative Director. Your role will be pivotal in creating a cohesive visual narrative that threads through all brand channels, including emails, blogs, and social media.

Leveraging your extensive experience in both video and photography, you will help expand our visual style guide, defining detailed directions for imagery, video, lighting, set design, and more. You will manage the production process from start to finish, working with a network of stylists, photographers, and set designers to bring innovative concepts to life. Your ability to manage multiple projects—whether large-scale strategic initiatives or detailed on-set productions—will be key to your success.

You will also refine and expand our stock photography database, building authentic photo libraries and curating a collection of elevated brand imagery that features our key products. Your work will support the visual representation of our products across all marketing and social channels, ensuring consistency and excellence across all visual outputs.
