Job Description

ABOUT US

Not Actual Size is a creative agency that builds respect for brands. We are an independent, employee-owned B Corp, working in partnership with Global brands such as Dove, Sure/Rexona, and Roche.

Our services cover the creative spectrum – from truly social-first content creation to turning unseen insights into campaign ideas. We also never forget the beautiful basics and take pride in crafting product pages or lifestyle shots that truly resonate – for us, every detail matters. Our strategy team works closely with our creative team and client partners, providing data, insights and reporting to influence decisions and boost innovation.

Our approach to work and culture is based on Radical Respect. It is our rebellion against the noise of an ultra-connected world and it means we give obsessive attention to every quietly significant detail in order to boost relevance for our clients, people and society.

Our team has been continually growing and we’re looking for big thinkers, dot joiners and meaning makers to join us – we have big plans for the future and are looking for a proactive and talented Video Editor to help us go to the next level.

ABOUT THE CREATIVE TEAM

Our creative team makes bold work that matters. Driven by storytelling, craft and innovation, the team is responsible for shaping brands and making them famous. To achieve this they develop brand strategies, social playbooks and assets to keep the brand’s digital channels alive and pristine, and impactful campaigns, social-first content and activations that increase the brand’s popularity. Together, they’re set to build our brands’ relevance.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling, proficiency in editing and motion graphics, and the ability to bring ideas to life through compelling video content. You will collaborate with our creative team to produce high-quality videos for digital campaigns, social media, and branded content. As well as editing and postproducing footage facilitated to you, you will also be expected to capture content in our internal shoots - mostly aimed for organic social content.

You are a Video Editor who has:

  • Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Video Editor in a similar role, in a fast-paced creative agency or environment.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (After Effects, etc.).
  • Experience and passion for social media content grounded in strategy and creative/brand guidelines
  • Knowledge of sound design tools
  • Strong real/spec portfolio showcasing editing and motion design skills.
  • Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Experience in content capture and production processes.
  • Interest in color grading, sound design, and post-production workflows.
  • Experience and/or interest in AI application to video-making is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

You are a Video Editor who happens to be:

  • A craftsperson who is full of ideas as well as contagious energy to make them happen.
  • A strategic-mind, valuing strong narrative and creative concept driven by insights and storytelling for best-in-class output
  • An innovator who keeps abreast of cultural conversations and technological advancements to stimulate reactive proposals relevant for people, clients and the agency.
  • A good communicator who runs presentations and also speaks regularly and efficiently with internal stakeholders to ensure they are updated and aligned on all things related to process, team capacity, resourcing and recruitment.
  • A tidy team member who uses file-saving and project management tools rigorously - to help cross-team work.

WHAT NAS OFFERS

We’re proud to offer a range of benefits that help our team thrive personally and professionally.

Alongside 33 days holiday, private health insurance, pension plans, enhanced sick pay, and team lunches and social events, we provide bespoke training packages and weekly cultural listening sessions to fully immerse all employees in the wider industry.

We also offer flexible hybrid working options. Most team members work from our (quite wonderful) office twice a week, but we are happy to discuss what works best for you.

We are a diverse team of creatives, strategists and account managers, and we highly encourage people from all backgrounds to apply. We embrace diversity and believe an inclusive, equitable environment is the key to crafting truly meaningful work.
