Senior Graphic Designer

Pentagram is looking for a highly creative Senior Graphic Designer to join Samar Maakaroun’s team at its London office.

The ideal candidate will have a core practice in creating brands, and proven experience in brand identity work across digital, print and motion. Exhibition design experience is a bonus; a keen typographic eye and attention to detail is essential.

We work across a variety of sectors and with companies at all stages of development, primarily on brand design, including arts, culture, tech, gaming, entertainment and fashion. We’re a collaborative team and this role will be a good fit for someone who thrives working both with others and independently, from ideation to crafting design systems for delivery.

Depending on the needs of the specific project, our team uses various software to bring their ideas to fruition, often including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects, Keynote, Glyphs, Pitch, Midjourney, Cavalry, and others.

We are searching for a designer who is dependable and kind, has a great work ethic, strong technical skills and the ability to problem solve. They take pride and ownership in their work, can take instruction but also use their initiative to create designs that are conceptually strong and exquisitely crafted.

Samar and team frequently work across cultures, languages and scripts; the role would be ideally suited to someone who is open to and embraces the unfamiliar, has an innate curiosity to learn more and has an investigative, research-driven approach to design.

Skills:

• Fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Figma and Keynote

• Natural people person with good interpersonal skills

• Ability to think about how concepts and designs can work in motion from the outset

• Strong sense of crafting and getting things right, with the ability to prioritise workflow, and determine when iterating and refining can be left for later

• Strong time management and organisational skills, and an attention to detail are essential
