Junior Producer / Studio Manager

We’re looking for a Studio Manager / Junior Producer to help keep our projects running smoothly and support the team with day-to-day operations.

About us

A boutique art, design and motion practice, with experimentation at its core, XK studio specialises in the creation of high end 3D visuals and films. We worked with clients such as Apple, Hermès, ISSEY MIYAKE, Microsoft, MUGLER and Google, blending artistic and technical approaches to craft meaningful narratives, mesmerizing motion and daring aesthetics.

Role

This role is combining project coordination, client communication (70%) and general studio management (30%). It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a producer role while being at the heart of a creative studio. This is a full time role, we work from our London studio 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Coordination

• Assist the lead producer in managing 3D motion projects from concept to delivery.
• Help create project timelines, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate with artists, freelancers, and clients to keep projects moving.
• Gather assets, references, and feedback for the team.
• Support budget tracking and resource planning.

Client & Team Communication

• Act as a point of contact between the team and clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Help prepare presentations, pitches, and project documentation.
• Keep clients updated on project progress and feedback cycles.
• Maintain a positive, problem-solving approach to client relationships.

Studio Operations & Admin

• Handle day-to-day studio operations and ensure smooth workflows.
• Manage scheduling and coordination of internal and external meetings.
• Help onboard freelancers and maintain a database of talent.
• Assist with studio finances (expenses, software subscriptions).
• Keep the studio organized and ensure tools/processes are up to date.

Tools

We are looking for someone who can easily pick up new skills and tools, create schedules, trackers, etc. We use Google Suite (particularly sheets), Miro, Notion, Keynote and occasionaly some Adobe Suite (Photoshop).

Experience

Ideally 1-3 years of experience in production, project management, or studio operations (motion design, VFX, or animation experience preferred).
