Job Summary:
We are looking for a Digital Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle—from discovery and design to development and deployment. This role is open to candidates at all levels, but we are particularly interested in finding a junior or mid-level professional who is passionate about digital projects and eager to grow in their career.
This is an exciting role where you will work with a wide variety of clients, across different industries each with individual objectives. You will also be co-managing and independently managing projects as they arise from the point of sale, working more closely with the Design and Development teams to envision and implement the client brief.
We are looking for someone who has a keen interest and knowledge of technology, often working collaboarely with the development team to find technical solutions. It would also be great if you had WordPress or CMS experience but its not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple digital projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers
Discovery Phase:
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather requirements.
- Facilitate UX workshops and contribute to project scoping
Design Coordination:
- Work closely with design teams to translate client requirements into actionable design briefs
- Ensure designs align with project goals, functionality and client expectations
Development Oversight:
- Coordinate with development teams to build websites and applications
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance processes
- Sprint planning
- Alpha and beta testing
Client Communication:
- Maintain weekly/regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and manage expectations
- Build strong client relationships and understand their needs
Documentation:
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project reviews
- Utilise project management tools to ensure transparency and accountability
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within project management practices
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in project management, ideally in a digital agency environment (junior/mid-level) (preferred)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) (preferred)
Skills:
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Zoho, Trello, Asana, Jira) and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office) (preferred)
