As the world’s leading illustrated non-fiction publisher, DK is seeking a Design Assistant to undertake all design related admin and some technical tasks across the Children’s team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and is eager to take on new challenges.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting on various design needs (including supervised design tasks, image processing, assisting on photoshoots, craft-making, handling of pre-production files, and general technical support for design)
  • Providing administrative support for all design needs (including raising purchase orders and organising contracts)
  • Assisting in the sales materials process in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Organising the circulation of materials for project approval stages
  • Supporting the Art Director with day-to-day admin tasks

  • Someone who is keen to understand efficient workflows and processes

While this role primarily focuses on administrative tasks, we’re looking for someone with a good blend of creative and analytical thinking. Strong time management, organisational skills, and a meticulous eye for detail are essential. Familiarity with the Creative Cloud—particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator—is highly desirable.

Salary: £27,500, plus bonus and benefits
