Midweight or Senior Brand Designer
Job Description
We’re looking for a new midweight or senior brand designer to join our tight-knit team
We’re looking for switched-on, creative thinkers that take equal pride and joy in great ideas and beautiful craft. With at least 4 years’ experience, your work is underpinned by smart, conceptual thinking and clear rationale.
The ideal candidate will already have a focus in brand identity creation and will be a versatile designer able to adapt their style and approach appropriately to different briefs.
Typographic flair and rigour are essential foundational skills, but your ability to bring something extra to your work, be that motion, digital design, copywriting capability, or illustrative skills, is a bonus.
You love working as part of a team, but you’re very capable of looking after your own workflow, and getting stuff done when it’s needed. Either way, you’re empathetic to the needs and opinions of others and wide open to trying different ways of doing things.
We run a hybrid work-week, with everyone in our London studio together on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the rest of the week flexible.

- You’ll be confident in packaging and presenting your work for clients with minimal input

Your capabilities
- A brilliant creative thinker, with the ability to push everything you do: your own creative boundaries, the boundaries of your work, of someone else’s work, of a system, of the kernel of an idea (that may or may not be your own)
- Excellent on the craft and detail — nothing gets past you
- Comfortable engaging with the strategic dimension of our work, able to get under the skin of clients’ issues
- Strong on content as well as visuals: both in understanding, and application (integrating into thinking)
- Able to make smart connections between what’s going on in the world and what we do for our clients
- Articulate, confident in presenting work
- A great listener, keen to understand & meet the needs of the client and the brief
- Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships within design and across the business

Your attitude

- Determined and tenacious enough to see things through
- Constantly challenging themselves and others to get the best out of each other
- Generous, able to share ownership, never precious, never protective
- Open-minded and flexible, constantly looking for new ways to make stuff happen and make the design better
- Unafraid to try and fail, possessing a ‘nothing is impossible’ spirit
- Always hungry to learn, always ready to share
- Never afraid to offer an opinion — or ask others theirs. A healthy appetite for the perspectives, opinions and insights of others in the business. And are respectful, and artful at balancing, the priorities of those with more experience or seniority
