About the role

We're hiring a results-driven and visionary Art Collections Manager to join our team. The purpose of this role is to grow our existing art rental accounts and lead and innovate Artiq Experience, our program of bespoke art events.

You will deliver exceptional presentation of art curations to clients, overseeing and ensuring smooth delivery of all approved client projects in the department from inception to delivery. You will also recruit, develop, and nurture an expert team of Account Managers, inspiring and training them to meet our standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • As a line manager, recruit, develop and nurture an expert team of Account Managers, inspiring and training them to meet our standards of excellence.
  • Lead the Account Management team to exceed individual and departmental targets and all KPIs including closed sales, account growth, networking events, strategic partner meetings.
  • Manage and maintain Artiq’s portfolio of art rental clients.
  • Delivery exceptional presentation of art curations to clients, overseeing and ensuring smooth delivery of all approved client projects in the department from inception to delivery
  • Own, innovate and be critical to the delivery of the Artiq Experience across Artiq’s existing client accounts.
  • Report accurately and regularly on departmental and individual progress and set the standard for accurate and responsible reporting across the team.
  • Build an independent and credible network of strategic industry partners across the office fitout, furniture, interior design, architecture and build sectors. Meet and aim to exceed targets for the number of strategic partner meetings and new business opportunities brought in.
  • Maintain and develop Artiq’s reputation as an industry leader in workplace art rental, regularly attending networking events across the design and build sectors alongside client relevant industry events e.g. law, insurance and finance.
  • Deliver expert briefs to the internal Curation team and manage projects seamlessly from pitch to post-sale and maximise growth potential of your client base, assisting the Art Collections team in bringing in regional and international opportunities within your existing client base.
  • Work closely with the Operations team in the delivery and installation of projects with the aim of minimising mistakes and ensuring the Operations team can achieve their goal of flawless installations.
  • Expertly pitch and present proposals to a wide range of stakeholders including at C-Suite level and provide innovative ideas and formats for presenting Artiq’s services and improving close rates.
  • Listen to customer requirements and objections, challenge objections, satisfy requirements and create detailed presentations and quotes to close the sale.
  • Close deals with speed, clarity and profitability, exceeding monthly targets.
  • Report regularly to the team and Commercial Director on workplace market trends, business won, lost and in pipeline.
  • Be an expert in Salesforce, ensuring your pipeline of sales, leads and client contacts are accurately recorded at all times. Be a champion of Salesforce, undertaking training and encouraging take-up within the Sales team, driving usage, engagement and innovative forms of use.
  • Where relevant, innovate and make suggestions that could open the company into new markets/services or result in more efficient processes.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the Company at all times.

Additional information

This is a full-time role based in our London office, with hybrid working.

Evening attendance at events and functions will be required.
