The Role
Creative Director is a senior role in JKR’s London studio, for someone highly experienced in the ideation, design, and resolution of brand identity and experience. As a Creative Director, you are a creative visionary with brilliant rigor, cut-through, clarity of thought and direction, a passion for the power of design to change the world.
You will primarily work alongside the design team to help co-create and develop brand identities, to communicate a brand idea, identity or story. This individual oversees team heads within the design team as well as external vendors, while simultaneously contributing to the creative process.
From conception & positioning to execution & production, the Creative Director ensures that the quality of all deliverables is of the highest standard.
There are various multidisciplinary teams within JKR for the Creative Director to work alongside, such as Motion, CGI, Digital, Image, Form, and Voice. There will be opportunities to expand the wider Design team and influence new hires and skills, going forward.
There are also ample opportunities to build your personal brand via awards judging, charity work, industry-wide mentoring, and an innovative new Academy for school leavers.
An equally vital role will be in partnering with strategy to build a platform and develop client relationships alongside your Account partners.

Requirements
• An exciting portfolio that demonstrates the work that most represents and excites you
• At least 10 years of branding experience
• A proven ability to work with design systems and apply across a range of mediums, which may include graphic, digital, 3D, motion, or sonic
• Idea-driven and inspiring
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for storytelling
• Detail-oriented with an ability to blend creative and technical skills
• An enthusiasm for design, motion graphics, and brand experience
• Keen to lead and guide, rather than personally execute
