The Role

Millions of cat parents engage with KatKin every month, and as KatKin's Digital Designer, you’ll work alongside our Senior Digital Designer in bringing our hardcore cat parent’s digital journey to life. You’ll have the opportunity to improve our creative and storytelling to leave a remarkable impression of the brand, drive tens of thousands of new customers to try our fresh cat food, and retain even more.

You will own and create the assets that help nurture our relationship with trialists, ensure our brand shines through at every touch point, and dabble in organic content creation. You will relish in the creativity and challenges needed to continually produce engaging and best-in-class assets to scale our online sales and audiences fast and effectively.

Key ownership areas:

  • Bringing fresh ideas and experimenting to create mouth-watering digital content
  • Be on the cutting edge of digital design trends
  • Work closely with our Head of Acquisition and team to objectively analyse the performance of paid touch points to develop and share insights that drive big improvements in lead engagement and trialist acquisition
  • Stay ahead of new paid social channels and digital acquisition growth ideas and trends
  • Ensuring a consistent customer experience from paid ad to delivered box
  • Work closely with our CRM Manager to take our email campaigns to new heights

Who we are looking for:

  • 4+ years in a designers role, whether agency and/ or client-side, with your key ownership area being digital design.
  • A strong understanding of design principles and a passion for improving your craft.
  • Visual storyteller who understands the importance of emotion in creating engaging creative to drive results.
  • Wunderkind with Figma, and/ or Adobe XD/Sketch, with a knowledge of web design standard methodologies.
  • A good working knowledge of all Adobe CC programmes (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Premiere Pro, AfterEffects).
  • Mission-driven, high energy and a natural sense of curiosity and urgency for results
  • Proven track record and portfolio of best-in-class creative, digital campaigns and landing pages that drove conversions

Nice to haves:

  • Strong analytical capabilities to complement creativity and first-hand trialist acquisition insights
  • Experience in designing + tracking engaging landing pages to convert leads to trialists
  • Natural conversation starter and extrovert who enjoys engaging with people to brainstorm new creative campaigns
  • Experience in print is a bonus.
  • You have a cat, or two or three! And you are passionate about doing the right thing for them.
