OVERVIEW:

As the Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and guiding the strategic and creative direction of projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop innovative solutions, and ensure that projects are delivered successfully. This role involves coordinating with creative teams, project managers and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. You will act as the primary point of contact between the agency and the client, ensuring clear communication and alignment with the client's goals.

Client Services:

  • Management of all core client accounts at Chapel
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Understanding client briefs, and challenging brands & our creatives for the best possible output

PM Team Management & Creative Oversight:

  • Visibility across all projects, ensuring a smooth process between creatives and PM’s
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality services or campaigns, ensuring they align with agreed-upon standards and objectives
  • Across all resource & budget meetings with the PM’s
  • Main POC for all PM related queries

Finance & Forecasting:

  • Lead bi-weekly budget meetings with the PM team alongside Director, presenting weekly forecasts to Senior Leadership
  • Monitor and report on the performance of client accounts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Manage account budgets, profitability, and financial aspects of projects to meet or exceed financial targets. Generating proposals & supporting PM’s with estimates
  • Attending monthly accountant/bookkeeper meetings

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Client Relationship Management: Significant experience in managing client relationships, with a background in advertising, design, or marketing agencies
  • Strategic and Creative Thinking: Ability to plan and strategise at a senior level, with a persuasive approach to creative projects
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent written and oral communication skills, effective negotiation abilities, and the capacity to lead client meetings and presentations
  • Team Management: Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a team, with a focus on delegation, workload balance, and growth
  • Commercial Acumen: Attention to detail, knowledge of financial and business practices and business development. A full awareness of creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms
