Long established independent film production agency seeks Creative Producer full time. With a diverse selection of clientele and deep routed connections they have experienced a steady increase in workload. In fact they have grown in size due to this. It’s a good time to be joining this business.
As a Creative Producer, you will become a key member of the film production team who will create short-form and long-form film/video content across a wide range of clients and projects. You will be experienced in story and concept development, understanding agency objectives and be confident pitching innovative ideas and creative concepts.
Experience in scriptwriting and edit producing will complement your track record in producing and directing. Your technical understanding of on location shooting and post-production techniques, cameras and equipment will bring ideas to life in content that engages audiences.
Through your experience, you’ll have built a trusted network of industry contacts and be able to work under pressure and simultaneously across a range of exciting projects that are on brief, on budget and delivered to the highest possible standard. The role will also require significant levels of travel and out of hours working.
As part of the team, you will be focused on the end-to-end FILM production process and will have a number of responsibilities across different sectors of the department including: Creative Development, Pre-Production, on location shoot Production, Post-Production.
Skills & Experience sought;
- Ideally a min of 5 years experience in a creative producer role, at a production agency. Though we consider all levels!
- Excellent understanding of the end-to-end film production cycle
- Highly organised & keen problem solver
- Excellent communication skills
- Remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Creative production including developing new film concepts and presenting them to senior stakeholders and clients
- Producer and Director skills including interviewing talent and contributors, setting up and directing shoots on location, edit producing and managing production crew onsite
- Strong narrative and editorial skills and experience writing a range of scripts.
- Strong understanding of cameras, formats, codecs etc
- Good understanding of budgets, pre and post production timelines as well as processes
- Flexible work approach, able to work either day or evening shifts and availability for weekend work as and when required
