We are looking for a Senior HR Manager/HR Business Partner who will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle of our 50 (and growing) employees across all 4 businesses. This is a generalist HR role and will be responsible for; Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent & Recruitment, Rewards & Benefits and HR Operations. Whilst this is a stand alone HR role, you will have dedicated resource and support on HR administrative tasks from the Team Assistant.

Tasks
- Reporting directly to the Co-CEO and part of the Senior Leadership team, you will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing the HR strategy for the group across 4 key areas; Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent & Recruitment, Rewards & Benefits
- Oversee everything HR with responsibility for 50+ employees
- Lead on and off-boarding processes for all staff
- Build great relationships with employees and managers, providing advice, support and coaching
- Develop and manage benefits and rewards packages including annual pay reviews and salary benchmarking
- Work closely with HBGs Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams to ensure DEI at HBG is always moving forwards
- Set HR targets and report to leadership team on a quarterly basis
- Develop and manage appraisal and development processes for all staff
- Identify training needs and develop engaging learning plans for all
- Manage employee relations including performance issues, grievances and disciplinaries
- Keep up to date with current UK employment law, implementing necessary changes when needed
- Lead internal staff satisfaction surveys to identify new opportunities and key challenges
- Maintain and develop HBG policies
- Work with Business Leads and Directors on workforce planning, identifying gaps and working on succession plans
- Lead recruitment processes, ensuring fair and best practise, working closely with hiring managers to provide coaching and support where needed
- Develop and manage HR systems and softwares
- Manage monthly payroll and pension systems
- Build annual HR financial budgets
- Line manage the HBG Studio Manager and work together to create a creative and productive studio environment
You
- At least 5 years experience working in an HR generalist role
- Experience working within the creative industry
- Pro-active and uses initiative to take full responsibility of the HR function
- Comfortable working in a very fast paced environment
- Comfortable working across multiple businesses
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Empathetic, open and approachable, you're a brilliant listener who offers great advice
Details
- Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
- Reporting into: Co-CEO
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am — 5pm (flexible hours between 8am – 7pm)
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Kingsway, Holborn (Hybrid working between our central London Studio and home)
