We are working with well-loved and well-known food + retail brand with locations across the UK. They have a formed an inhouse Creative studio that operates as an agency to the brand. They are now looking to hire their first Content Creator, you will focused on Content creation for photography, videography + creative ideation. They have a goal to elevate the brand across all owned channels by crafting and capturing stunning, channel-native content in both photography and film. You’ll have an eye for creativity, a passion for detail, and a knack for capturing high-quality content using just your iPhone.
The role:
Creative Ideation:
• Contribute to the ideation process within our Creative Studio, generating fresh and disruptive ideas that translate our strategies into tangible outcomes, whether it’s through social media series, events, activations, packaging, or other content.
• Focus primarily on social media channels like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, advising on how best to execute our brand goals on these platforms. Whether it’s identifying trending topics to engage with, suggesting new recipe series, or learning from the industry’s best, your insights will be crucial.
• Craft copy to complement your visual content, including captions and scripts that enhance our messaging.
Content Capture:
• You’ll spend much of your time capturing both photographic and film content, which you’ll also edit. Whether it’s a day of filming recipe content in our test kitchen, visiting and interviewing our producers and suppliers, or documenting an event, you’ll own the look and feel of our social channels.
• Work closely with our design team to bring your vision to life through illustration, graphics, titles, and new ways to stretch our brand identity. You’ll be the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring all content aligns with our brand standards.
About:
• A strong portfolio that showcases your creativity and your grasp of the latest content trends and formats.
• In-depth understanding of social media channels, with a particular focus on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• While experience in food, FMCG, or retail hospitality is a plus, a genuine love of food will go a long way in this role. (Foodies only need apply)
• Proven ability to capture premium content across photography, film, and editing software, with an agile approach that allows for rapid content creation and editing to meet ad-hoc requests.
• Proficiency in editing software like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop/InDesign, or similar tools.
• A collaborative mindset with a strong desire to pitch ideas and contribute actively to the team.
