Job Description

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Culture Specialist to join our team.

Passionate about company culture and armed with industry knowledge and client insight, you’re happy to roll your sleeves up and deliver simple, tangible and practical solutions for our clients. We’re looking to interview people ASAP and are offering a minimum starting salary of £60k.

About us

At The Culture Club we work with clients to shape, shift and celebrate their company culture through brilliant employee engagement, communication, and experience.

We’re proud to be working with a mix of global clients on varied and challenging projects. We’ve done everything from redefining and embedding values to equipping leaders, designing and facilitating events to mapping culture and delivering fresh and creative interventions that spark change.

We’re not a fan of strict policies (we’re not that kind of business), but we’re guided by our simple club rules:

  • keep it simple
  • know it matters
  • ask great questions
  • roll your sleeves up
  • laugh at least once a day.

We’re a remote-first but close-knit team. We welcome applicants from across the UK so long as you’re happy to travel for clients and our team catch-ups (usually once a month in London).

Take a look at the type of projects we love to get stuck into.

About you

  • A genuine passion for company culture.
  • Proven experience working in employee communication, engagement, or HR – particularly in-house roles.
  • Confidence and ability to work with all levels of an organization, including the board level, providing credible consultation to shape and shift company culture.
  • Deep understanding of client challenges and the ability to apply practical, simple approaches to overcoming them.
  • Ability to design and deliver impactful plans that shape, shift, or celebrate company culture.
  • Day-to-day that means a Culture Specialist will be:
  • Designing and delivering employee discovery sessions e.g. facilitating workshops and interviews.
  • Shaping and delivering impactful plans for multiple projects.
  • Working with our creative team to develop inspiring ways to shape, shift and celebrate culture.
  • Getting stuck in to project delivery – we tend to do the heavy lifting for our clients.
  • Breaking down complex challenges into simple, practical steps.
  • Being a trusted sounding board for our team and our clients.
  • It’s not just client-facing though

You’ll play a part in shaping The Culture Club, too:

  • Spotting opportunities to grow and develop our offering.
  • Sharing thought leadership.
  • Raising our profile through events and speaking opportunities.
  • Creating content and delivering mentor sessions for members of The Clubhouse – our best practice collective.
  • We know that having different perspectives helps generate better ideas to solve the ever-changing challenges our clients face. People of all differences, cultures, and backgrounds are welcome at the Culture Club. You be you.

What you’ll get

We’re working hard to practice what we preach and craft a great culture of our own:

  • £60k+ salary.
  • Flexible working – you can manage your time in a way that suits you and the team.
  • More Happi coaching.
  • Development fund.
  • Dog friendly co-working spaces (in Bristol and Manchester).
  • Company pension and private healthcare after 3 months.
  • An opportunity to shape a progressive and ambitious agency.

Where is it based?

Our Clubbers are currently in Bristol, Manchester, London, and York, but it doesn’t matter where you live in the UK.
