Midweight Graphic Designer
Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Midweight Graphic Designer to work on brand identity projects. The Designer is a versatile role at Zak Group and should have the ability to conceptualise design proposals, create logos, logotypes, design systems, brand tone/imagery and style guides for client projects, new business and Zak Group initiatives. Experience with 2D motion graphics and 3D animations is preferred. The candidate is enthusiastic about how culture, brands and communities can intersect.
This is a full-time position. All candidates will be encouraged to be on-site in London.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- 3+ years of graphic design experience (digital and print) at a creative studio/agency
- Conceptualises and executes brand identity projects including the creation of symbols, logos, logotypes, lettering, form-making and illustration
- Leads the development of visual mood boards, brand tone/imagery and style guides
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be able to create clearly structured presentations to articulate concepts and design approaches to clients
- Collaborates with Creative and Art Director, in-house designers and freelance collaborators on creative strategy and production
- Works on all aspects of a project from design, costing, budgeting and project management
- Casts freelance creative collaborators across disciplines depending on project needs
- You will also be involved in ideation, creative direction, brand strategy, research and prototyping
- Experience creating 2D and 3D motion graphics and researching motion behaviours and graphic systems is preferred
