Salary: £52,386 - £61,647 per annum

Fixed Term Contract – Maternity cover

The BFI launched its ten-year strategy – ‘Screen Culture 2033’ which sets out how we will advance our knowledge, collections, programmes, National Lottery funding and leadership to build a diverse UK screen culture that benefits all of society.

We are seeking a designer who champions inclusion as a principle of interaction design and can develop user interface design across BFI platforms to support a coherent, delightful and accessible experience for our users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design features and experiences for a range of BFI digital products for web, mobile and TV.
  • Consolidate UI elements across the BFI’s digital platforms, while maximising the impact of distinct products and brands
  • Translate research insights and product requirements into tailored prototypes and designs.
  • Share traditional, contemporary and emerging design ideas and practices

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Demonstrable experience of successful UX design for desktop and mobile platforms.

  • Strong experience of applying user-centred design and data-driven approaches

  • A passion for digital, including ecommerce, and commitment to creating best-in-class user experiences.

  • A proven track record of promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion.
