The Life team creates books about all things lifestyle and health, this includes books for adults on cooking, drink, gardening, craft, fitness, and self-improvement. We work with high-profile authors and with the best photographers and illustrators in the industry. We are seeking someone who is passionate about design, wants to learn from the best and is keen to develop their career in a creative environment.
Reporting into the Art Director, You will have the opportunity to establish yourself, have your say and make your mark on our content’s styling. You will be someone who can get stuck in from the get-go and can handle working to multiple deadlines.

As you develop your skills, you'll eventually take on the responsibility of running your own titles in collaboration with our Acquisitions editors. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in briefing and commissioning photographers and illustrators.
This is a fast-paced role and where strong organisational skills will be key to delivering high quality results within multiple deadlines. In return for your hard work, you will have the opportunity to thrive within a truly collaborative business where you have the freedom to make a real impact.
If you have made it this far and have a portfolio that shows the whole breadth and depth of your work, we’d love to see it. To apply, please submit a cover letter, CV and portfolio of your recent relevant design work.
