Job Description

As a Senior Designer at FCB London, you’ll be a key creative force in the agency, driving projects from concept to final execution. We’re looking for someone who is both a conceptual thinker and a craft-focused designer, someone who has a passion for pushing design and making iconic work. You’re a master of your tools, and are multidisciplinary - lending a hand to anything from print OOH, to digital executions and motion graphics.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Art and the wider design team, leading your own projects and taking ownership of design decisions. This includes collaborating with creative teams, strategists, and clients, ensuring that our design output is both innovative and effective. You’ll also be responsible for presenting and pitching ideas, confidently articulating your vision.

As a brand guardian for a selection of key clients, you’ll be the go-to person for anything design related, ensuring brand consistency, upholding visual standards, and helping push the potential of each brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading projects from concept to delivery, bringing strong visual problem solving and high executional standards to everything you work on.
  • Collaborating with internal teams creative, strategy, account management , 456 studios, and production
  • Presenting and pitching ideas both internally and to clients, helping sell in great work.
  • Mentoring and guiding more junior designers, helping to shape their development and supporting them on projects.
  • Championing craft and innovation, ensuring we are producing work that is visually iconic and industry leading.
  • Being adaptable jumping in when the team needs support and helping push projects over the line.
  • Working on a mix of local and global projects Collaborating with FCB offices worldwide, sharing ideas and working on large-scale global campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience ideally in advertising, branding, or digital, but not essential if you have the right mindset and portfolio.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, craft, and versatility across a variety of projects.
  • A leader as well as a doer Someone who can drive a project forward and support their team when needed.
  • A collaborative mindset eager to work closely with other disciplines to create the best work possible.
  • Ability to sell design whether that’s in an internal WIP, or building a deck to impress clients - your passion, atriculation and decision making backed by design theory shine through.
  • A passion for motion. A good working knowledge of After Effects is essential for you to be a versatile member of the team.
  • Technical expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with emerging tools like MidJourney, Runway, and Firefly for conceptual exploration.
  • Time management. Ability to meet deadlines efficiently while flagging any obstacles early.
  • Organisation. Strong organisational skills, including structured file management.
  • Flexibility. Advertising is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. We need someone who can adapt quickly. We look after our people and aim to maintain a balanced day-to-day workload, though there may be times when working outside typical hours is required.
  • A passion for design culture. Being up to date with trends, new tools, and innovations that push the industry forward.
  • Attention to detail with consistency, quality, and craft across everything we do.
  • Bonus. Experience with 3D tools like Blender would be great but isn’t a requirement.
