Job Description

As a Lead Designer in the Nails.INC creative team, you will be a proven self-starter who is energetic, pragmatic and welcoming of challenges. You’ll have the ability to lead design projects and consistently deliver work at the highest levels of craft, always bringing something fresh, Nails.INC style. You’ll be confident working across multiple projects and platforms including print, digital, social media and experiential. You'll be leading a growing team of talented individuals who will be looking to you for inspiration and guidance on a day to day basis. You take a project from start to completion, executing and delegating as needed. You work closely with the creative team, marketing team, sales team and PD team to develop relevant, meaningful work, consistently of a very high standard.

What you will do

* Creating high quality, accurate, on time, and on-brief design assets, fully aligned with brand strategy.

* Championing the brand and proactively updating all evergreen brand assets according to new brand strategy.

* Working with the Creative Director to deliver design ideas in order to bring campaign concepts to life.

* Producing both print assets such as posters, leaflets and point of sale. As well as digital assets including designed social media posts and stories, website banners, and email designs.

* Liaising with the project leads to understanding briefs, adding insight and advice on timings.

* Balancing multiple projects, responding well to criticism, taking on board and implementing feedback

• Take your knowledge and insight and turn them into designs that engage the audiences for which the communication is targeted Creative Execution

• Develop design concepts, confidently present them both internally and externally, refine after feedback and execute the final idea

• Present your progress to the team at all points of creative development

• Takes a role in development of creative content for proposals and pitches Brand/Market/Agency Knowledge

• Maintain strong working relationships with sales/marketing/PD and the creative team and collaborate in creative briefs and timings

• Translate creative briefs into comprehensive multi-channel design layouts

• Manage and work independently under tight deadlines and while juggling multiple projects

• Articulate a clear direction to the studio and any suppliers or vendors, and take ownership of projects

• Have ability to think on your feet and actively implement solutions to avoid problems Client Relations/Communication Skills • Work collaboratively and always support the wider team
