Agent/Producer (Arts Division)

An opportunity has arisen for someone to join our dynamic team (1 year FTC), as an Agent/Producer within our Arts Division (Illustration, Animation & CGI) at Making Pictures, a London based, leading artist management agency and production company.

We are looking for someone who has an understanding of the role of an agent, who will be an integral part of our small team. The candidate must be a proactive self-starter that will seek out new opportunities for both our artists, and the agency.

The ideal candidate will have some agenting experience as well as solid industry contacts and relationships. (But we are open to applicants from different backgrounds).

Salary: Dependent on experience.

Start date: August/Sept 2024

Primary responsibilities/what we’re looking for:

• Assisting in the day to day running of the Arts division including but not limited to: quoting on projects, issuing sales invoices and handling enquiries.

• Artist Management.

• End to end Project Managment.

• Researching new business opportunities - lead generation for the Arts division and scoping out/researching areas of opportunity, using mindful sales techniques.

• Marketing and Selling to Advertising & Editorial clients directly.

• Booking and attending meetings.

• Sound budgeting and negotiating skills including familiarity with standard rates and usages.

• Considered and thorough client/project management.

• Managing our social media, generating pitch decks and helping to develop marketing strategies.

• Maintaining consistent face time with key clients.

• Database Management, ensuring we are always capturing the current and relevant commissioners.

• Knowledge of contemporary Illustration, Animation, CGI and Creative production.

• Strong written and verbal skills - detail oriented and organised, ability to work productively under pressure.

• Knowledge of In-design & Photoshop.

• Natural net-worker and good people management.
