Product Designer
Job Description
2022 is an exciting year for Hex and we’re looking for a Product Designer experienced in leading UX/UI functions from end to end. We have some exciting greenfield projects starting this year for brand new businesses with seed funding, and for established organisations. You will be involved at all stages of the project from concept ideation through to the technology architecture, build and deployment.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our design team and lead the UX function across the agency to help us deliver high performing digital products that enable our clients to grow.
We understand that roles in CX/UX/Product are very fluid and job titles mean different things to different people. This is a hybrid role for those comfortable working across formative research, strategy, journeys and information architecture. You would demonstrate excellent conceptual design skills and would collaborate closely on visual and interactive design with our existing team.
You'll be comfortable leading:
Market/Competitor/Behaviour Analysis
Working with existing (and defining new) research inputs to understand the user and the product/growth development context
Architecture
Translating and documenting insight from analysis into the overarching product and experience structure
Flows & Frames
Sequencing and structuring journeys into visual laydowns
Validation & Prototyping
Defining and running methods to assess whether the proposed product/growth solution meets the user needs
Where you fit into the agency:
You’ll work closely with our in-house client services, delivery, design, engineering and performance marketing teams to deliver excellent, high-performing digital design. It’s a hands-on role with client contact and an opportunity to help us improve the way we approach user experience research and design throughout the agency.
