Junior Designer

MTV Entertainment Group are looking for a passionate Junior Designer to join their digital department.

As a Junior Designer, you will develop and deliver social content and provide creative support on a diverse range of cross brand and cross platform design briefs and projects for MTV, Comedy Central and BET International.

What will you be doing?

• Bringing editorial to life through engaging graphics, imagery and motion on social
• Working on digital, editorial, social, motion, branding, marketing and commercial design briefs
• Contributing ideas in brainstorms and meetings
• Development of still and motion design templates (MOGRTs). Training provided!

What are we looking for?

• A portfolio of work demonstrating strong design skills and digital awareness
• Previous work experience in a digital and/or creative environment as an intern, entry or junior level designer
• Comfortable using Adobe Suite including After Effects
• Able to take a design from concept to completion and incorporate any feedback gracefully
• Self-motivated and organised, with ability to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
• Strong interest in design trends, photography, youth culture and new technology
• Thorough understanding of social and digital landscapes and strong editorial awareness
• Creative ability, design sense and aesthetic judgement
• Willingness to learn and develop both hard and soft skills
• Strong communication skills are essential as this position requires working with different teams and departments in a hybrid work environment

This is a 12 month full time contract.
