Position Overview: The Creative Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the creative strategy for our D2C food business. Working closely with the marketing team, you’ll lead the creation of all visual and written content, ensuring that the brand stands out in a competitive market. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for everything from conceptualizing campaigns to managing the day-to-day creative output, ensuring consistency and innovation at every customer touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creative Direction & Strategy: Lead the creative development of the brand, overseeing everything from campaign concepts to visual design and messaging across all channels (website, email, social media, packaging, etc.).
• Content Creation: Direct and create high-quality, on-brand content including graphics, video, photography, and copy that resonates with our target audience.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure a cohesive visual identity and tone of voice across all customer touchpoints, maintaining strict adherence to brand guidelines.
• Campaign Ideation & Execution: Collaborate with marketing to develop creative concepts for campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and brand loyalty.
• Digital & Social Media: Lead the creative approach for social media and digital advertising, ensuring engaging content that performs well across platforms.
• Packaging & Print Design: Oversee the design of physical assets, such as product packaging, direct mail, and other customer experience materials, ensuring the brand’s story is consistent.
• Project Management: Manage multiple creative projects at once, from conception to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high creative standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to align creative efforts with broader business objectives, contributing to campaigns and product launches.
• Innovation & Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, food culture, and creative best practices to continuously evolve the brand’s look, feel, and messaging.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and inspiration to junior designers, freelancers, and other creative collaborators, ensuring quality output and creative growth.
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in a creative role, preferably within a D2C, food, or lifestyle brand.
• Proven experience developing creative campaigns and leading projects from concept to execution.
• Strong design and content creation skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software.
• Experience with photography, videography, and social media content creation.
• Ability to think strategically while executing with precision on day-to-day tasks.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of digital marketing principles and an understanding of how creative drives performance.
• Strong understanding of food trends and consumer behavior in the D2C space is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
