Woo (by ITV) is a new generation digital media brand and marketplace redefining wellness. We aim to make positive wellbeing discoverable, aspirational and culturally relevant.

Woo aims to engage with Gen Z (and Gen Y) with their passion points: music, fashion, activism and culture but through a wellness lens. We take un-conventional practices that are designed to improve the human experiences, align them with cultural icons and deliver it in a way that feels accessible, relatable and desirable. Think documentaries, reality series, and endorphin-releasing videos, audio, written editorial and beyond.

This role entails…

The Features Editor will play a key role in creating and commissioning inspiring, optimistic and useful content across the Woo networks. The role sits within the Editorial team, reporting to the Head of Editorial.

This person needs to be confident working independently on long and short-form feature content as well as working with a strong network of freelance writers on articles and special projects. You will:

• Pitch story ideas, and writers for them - write, assign and work with writers to edit short and long-form features
• Oversee the scheduling of all articles
• Oversee special projects
• Working with the editorial assistant to overseeing and updating the cultural calendar
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Head of Editorial
• To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
• Minimum role criteria:
• Ability to generate brilliant ideas frequently
• Ability to submit clean copy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Track record of writing and commissioning original and agenda-setting features.

• Experience as an editor, including feature editing.
• A strong list of writer and PR contacts and a commitment to refreshing and updating this list endlessly
• A finger on the pulse when it come to recognising new talent across culture and wellness
