Pixel Fridge is an independent B Corp Certified digital agency based in London and Devon, UK. As a company we aim to create purposeful experiences. We partner with our clients to create websites and applications that are helpful, whilst aiming to reduce their impact on the environment.
We’re looking for an experienced web developer to join our team. As part of the development team at Pixel Fridge, you’ll be taking ideas envisioned by our designers and bringing them to life. You’ll be involved in the build of a range of exciting websites and applications, working closely with our design team to craft user-friendly experiences. You’ll be keen to learn and to help the agency stay ahead of the curve.The perfect candidate will keep informed of the latest trends and techniques in web development and identifying where new web technologies can be used. You will need a deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress. The role requires experience of building websites using WordPress, with experience in other CMS-es and frameworks being a bonus.
What you’ll have…
- An understanding of semantic HTML and accessibility
- Knowledge of writing CSS and CSS frameworks, such as Tailwind
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React and Vue.js
- Experience of working with APIs
- Solid knowledge of PHP and associated frameworks
- Experience building custom themes on WordPress
- Attention to detail when crafting quality user interfaces
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Experience with build systems such as Webpack
- Knowledge of using Git and working with repositories to manage parallel development
- An interest in experimenting with new web technologies and methods
